A secret information from the Israel Foreign Ministry that has "leaked" in the press shows evidence that Bolivia and Venezuela supply uranium for the nuclear program of Tehran
Igal Palmor, the spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry, said that the Government of Israel will not comment on the content of the report, and that such a "leak" should never have happened.
According to the three pages reports, Bolivia and Venezuela, who are known for always having opposed U.S. foreign policy and Israeli actions, are trying to undermine the process of rapprochement that the U.S. president, Barak Obama, has begun with the Iranian authorities.
Bolivia has uranium deposits. Venezuela is not currently mining its own estimated 50,000 tons of untapped uranium reserves, according to an analysis published in December by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
